Late goals help home win streak
Valencia CF are now on a three-match winning streak at home, following their triumph against Villarreal CF on Matchday 26. The team dug deep for two late goals, turning around an adverse scoreline and claiming a hugely important three points.
The comeback began with a Carlos Soler penalty, from which he converted for his seventh goal of the season.

Following that, after a dominant second half showing, Valencia CF got their just rewards, from a counter begun by Christian Oliva and scored by Gonçalo Guedes in style, just before the final whistle.
The performance echoed the victory against Celta Vigo a fortnight ago, once again at Mestalla. In that game, the score had been deadlocked until the fourth minute of stoppage time, when Manu Vallejo appeared for a vital opening goal. Kevin Gameiro followed up with a second, finishing off a run inside and pass from Thierry Correia.
The team's belief won out again this Friday, as they continued a home run that has included victories over Elche, Celta Vigo and Villarreal CF.
